College will meet at Tuscola on Monday October 20, 2025.

  East Central York Rite College No. 81 will meet on Monday October 20, 2025, at the Masonic Temple at 105 1/2 N. Main, Tuscola, Illinois 61953.  The doors will open at 5:30 and the College will meet at 6:00.  There is to be at least one candidate for membership.

 

East Central York Rite College No. 81 makes a donation to Champaign Assembly No. 21 International Order of the Rainbow for Girls

 

East Central York Rite College 81 Preeminent Governor, Jeff Baine, visited Champaign Assembly No. 21 International Order of the Rainbow for Girls at their Tuesday, September 23, 2025, meeting.   Preeminent Companion Knight Baine presented a check, to the Assembly, on behalf of the College.  Accepting the donation were Alyssa S., Worthy Advisor of Champaign Assembly and Grand Representative to Connecticut and Massachusetts, Samantha L., Grand Fidelity, and Gail C., Grand Nature.  The donation was made possible by the recent York Rite College Challenge Coins for Masonic Youth Groups fundraiser and will help support local Rainbow programs.

 

East Central York Rite College No. 81 presents check to Lockard DeMolay

 

East Central York Rite College 81 Preeminent Governor, Jeff Baine, visited L.L. Lockard Chapter Order of DeMolay at their Sunday, September 14, 2025, meeting.   Preeminent Companion Knight Baine presented a check, on behalf of the College,  to Lockard Master Councilor, Xavier Hills.  The donation was made possible by the recent York Rite College Challenge Coins for Masonic Youth Groups fundraiser and will help support local DeMolay programs and travel to state events.

Order of the Purple Cross news at Raleigh, NC August 7-9, 2025

 At this year's General Assembly of the York Rite Sovereign College of North America, held in Raleigh, NC on August 7th to the 9th, Companion Knight Brian L. Pettice, Past Governor and current Sentinel of East Central College 81, received the Order of the Purple Cross.  The Grand Governor of Illinois, Sean P. McBride, also Past Governor of East Central College 81, announced that Companion Knight Michael J. Dooley, Past Governor and current Secretary of East Central College 81, was elected to receive the Order of the Purple Cross next year.  Congratulations to all.

 

NOTICE OF MEETING CHANGE - EAST CENTRAL YORK RITE COLLEGE #81 - NEW LOCATION, DATE & TIME

Member Notification:: In a consultation of the Preeminent Governor of our College with the Grand Governor of Illinois and their advisement to me; the meeting scheduled in Villa Grove, Illinois on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 10 a.m. is being rescheduled into March.  This is due to several Masonic events that particular day and in the coming weeks of February. For some, it may be logistically difficult to attend our meeting on the 11th and/ or fulfill their commitments to those other events also scheduled on the 11th - as well as throughout the month.

Therefore-the proposed date of our College meeting will now be -SATURDAY MARCH 18, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. - at the Danville Masonic Temple, 109 W. North Street, Danville, Illinois.  We would ask in the coming days for an RSVP for attendance & to ensure a quorum at the meeting.

This is also the date of the 'Valley of Danville-AASR - Ancient Craft Degree Team' presentation of 'A Candlelight 3rd Degree Conferral' at the Temple beginning at 9 a.m. sharp.  You might consider attending this presentation in the morning as well for a great Masonic experience. EAST CENTRAL YORK RITE SOVEREIGN COLLEGE # 81 MEETING -- THURSDAY EVENING 10/27/2022

 To All ::  There will be a meeting of the EAST CENTRAL YORK RITE COLLEGE # 81 on Thursday evening - October 27, 2022 beginning at 7:30 p.m.  Meeting will be held at the Tuscola Masonic Lodge # 332 - 105 1/2 North Main Street - in downtown Tuscola, Illinois.  There will be an Order conferred that evening.  Dress is tuxedo or black suit.

There will also be a dinner & fellowship opportunity at 6:00p.m. at Ta'Carbon Restaurant, 1003 E. Southline Rd. MEETING OF THE EAST CENTRAL YORK RITE COLLEGE # 81 -- SATURDAY AUGUST 20th, 2022

The meeting of the  East Central York Rite College # 81  will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. It will be held at the Champaign Masonic Center - 14 Bel-Air Ct.  in Champaign.  Notice this change of time and location of the meeting.  This is a fixed date meeting per our by-laws.

This will be a regular meeting - no Order will be conferred.  There will be a discussion on a date later this Fall to confer the Order on membership candidates.  We look forward to seeing you on the 20th.
